HERMLE'S 95TH ANNIVERSARY

The face of The Tellurium Obsidian Noir Anniversary Diamond Dial consists of hand tooled hour markers in Roman numerals, which have been made in solid 18k gold, fitted with 172 natural clear-cut brilliant diamonds.

The Tellurium Obsidian Noir Anniversary Diamond Dial has an 8-day spring wound mechanical gear train movement and has been designed to show the earth's inclination relative to the sun and as well as the changing moon phases. The movement is showcased in a glass case with a domed glass cover,  allowing a full 360º view of Hermle's intricate and sophisticated movement. The movement incorporates Hermle's signature 4/4 Westminster chime on 4 polished bells, 11 jewel deadbeat Swiss escapement, and the automatic night shut-off.

The Tellurium Obsidian Noir Anniversary Diamond Dial recreates the annual orbit of the earth around the sun, with the earth rotating on its own axis once every twenty-four hours. The moon revolves around the earth in 29.5 days, completing a full rotation around its axis as it models all the moon phases during its rotation. The earth passes all twelve zodiac signs, months, and individual days, which are indicated on the brass disc.
